Beading...

Beading is not my forte, so I'm always impressed by those who bead and those who design in beads. I have taken classes many moons ago, but realized that elaborate beading was too tedious for me which has left me a mere novice.

Saturday I decided to taken a class at a local beading store. The class was right angle weave, which I didn't not know ahead of time or else I may have been too petrified to go. But I did and it was very cool. My decision was based on a need to expand some of my work by using beading as an accent.

Here are two photos - I didn't not complete the project because my eyes are poor which affects threading and finding the small holes, so I'm going back in a few weeks to finish. Here's the photos:

My workstation, not too many tools were needed.

Almost finished piece and then two more to go.

It's going to be a necklace.
